Just this last item to pack in the car before I pick up and move to New York! For the past three years, I’ve called Boston my home, and what a great home it has been. While I’m saying farewell for now, there is still much more music and many more good times to be had here (including but not limited to my show at Lizard Lounge on 9/28!). I’m excited for all the new challenges and adventures. Take care of yourself, Boston! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.
The Andy Newton Band will be performing at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge on Wednesday, 9/28. We’ll be sharing the stage with Boston favorites Field Day and The Phil Aiken Army. I’m really excited about this show. I hope you can make it! See details below:

I had such a ball performing at Toad last weekend. Many thanks are in order to Love Love and Field Day for having me.
My next show will be at the Lizard Lounge on 9/28, and we’ll be sharing the bill once again with Field Day. I love the space, and I love the band. It should be a great show.
I’m performing a solo set at Toad in Porter Square on Saturday, August 20th. Come hear me play some new tunes I’ve been working on! Love Love and Field Day are coming on later at 10pm. No cover! Hope to see you there!

We had such a blast performing at the JP Porchfest last weekend. Many thanks are in order to Love Love for organizing as well as to the wonderful neighborhood of Jamaica Plain. It’s always heartwarming and encouraging to see a community come together to support the arts.

I had such a blast performing this past weekend at Toad. As both a performer and as a listener, I always find there’s some raw, mystic power in the intimacy and community that surrounds a solo show. I’m very grateful to Toad and Love Love for the opportunity to play!
This just in! I’m performing a solo acoustic set at Toad on Saturday, June 11th at 7:30pm. Love Love and The Fawns will be performing later in the night. It should be a great evening! No cover!
I’ve collected some of the highlights from my recent performance on WMFO’s Acoustic Ceiling and added them to my playlist of live recordings. I debuted four new songs on my last appearance on the show, which you can now listen to here, along with a rare solo performance of “River Rushing Through My Heart”. I hope you enjoy them!
